Example conversation

My 12-year-old wants Discord. What should I know?
Discord is a chat and voice app built around communities ("servers"), so the main things to check are who your child will be talking to and which servers they join. Look at privacy settings together, turn on the built-in safe-direct- messaging option, and agree which servers are okay before they join.
High confidence

What is FearFree Technology Together?

We're a UK charitable foundation helping parents, carers and educators support children through today's digital world. Technology isn't the problem — a lack of clear, trustworthy guidance is. We aim to replace uncertainty with confidence, not create fear.
